Bald Eagle Rehab Cage Donation Drive
Lake Milton Raptor Center is in need of building an eagle flight cage. The required flight cage size by the US Fish and Wildlife for eagles is 100 feet! That is a lot of wood!
In southwest Michigan you are able to spot bald eagles more frequently these years. With the bald eagle population increasing, more Eagles need our help to get back to their “home” after being sick or injured.
Please consider donating to the eagle flight cage. The center needs $4,000 for the flight cage. All labor is donated so the money goes to the material costs only.
All donations are tax deductible. Checks are to be made out to Lake Milton Raptor Education Center, LMREC. If you need a receipt for your cash donation, please let us know and we will mail or email a receipt to you.
As of 3/6/2016, we have raised $1678.53 towards the goal.

The necessity for a 100 foot flight cage is to provide enough space to allow bald eagles to fly and condition their muscles before being released into the wild. We want an eagle in top condition before being released to give the eagle the best chance at surviving in the wild!
